Embracing Your Path to Parenthood

Facing infertility can be an emotional and challenging journey — one that often feels isolating, even though so many people experience it. For some, using an egg donor becomes a path to building the family they’ve dreamed of.

Choosing to use an egg donor is not an easy decision. It can come with a mix of hope, grief, and a lot of unknowns. You might wonder:

  • Will I feel connected to my child?
  • How do I talk about this with family and friends?
  • When — and how — should I share this part of my child’s story with them?

These feelings are valid. It’s okay to hold both the joy of possibility and the sadness of what didn’t happen.

As someone who has walked this path, I understand the emotional complexity of egg donation. In my work as a therapist, I support parents and parents-to-be through the ups and downs of infertility, helping them process their emotions and build confidence in their unique family story.

You are not alone. Your journey to parenthood is just as real, meaningful, and beautiful as anyone else’s.

If you need a safe space to share your feelings or ask questions, I’m here to listen.
